Mona Mitchell - President & CEO
Mona Mitchell brings to ACHIEVEBLUE™ over 30 years of experience in facilitation, executive coaching, leadership development and business development. As the founding partner and President & CEO of ACHIEVEBLUE™, a boutique consultancy focused on leadership, coaching, cultural and organizational transformation, Mona’s passion is working with executive teams to create high performing environments that allow employees to thrive and excel.
It is through this work that Mona has released her first book "7 Elements of Strategy Execution", an Amazon Bestseller.
Prior to founding ACHIEVEBLUE™ Corporation, Mona was Executive Vice President IPS (a Stanford University Partner) responsible for Global Business Development. Her tenure with CDI Education contributed to the sustainable growth of the business, building CDI into one of North Americas leading organizations with clients globally. Mona has facilitated strategy and leadership development programs with many industries and sectors. She has worked with senior leadership teams at MedData, Town Shoes, Sodexo, NEI Investment, Softchoice, Ministry of Attorney General, Children’s Aid Society, OPG and Veranova. Mona’s current and past executive coaching experience is with executives in both the corporate and nonprofit sector.
Mona has held the Vice-Chair of the National Board and Chair of the Governance and Board Development Committee.of Big Brothers and Big Sisters Canada. Mona has been a presenter at many conferences including HRPA and Federated Press’s M&A Conference. Mona has also presented and facilitated leadership conferences with Softchoice, RBC, BMO and Alcon Canada. She has authored many articles on Leadership and Culture.
Jason Questor - Managing Partner, Programs and Practices
Co-founder Jason Questor has over 30 years professional experience in business and information technology management, program, project and product management, marketing communications and learning systems development and delivery. As a founding partner of ACHIEVEBLUE, Jason provides business transformation consulting with client management and staff personnel to align organizational culture with strategy, codify business rules and improve business practices. As a management coach and mentor, Jason works to leverage the interpersonal effectiveness, professional and technical skills of organizational leaders to create inspired teams and market leading products and services. Jason leads the learning systems development and marketing communications teams at ACHIEVEBLUE™ and provides pre and post sales consultation for key accounts.
Jason has developed and delivered leadership, management, project management, business analysis, IT and professional skills training programs for global clients including Algonquin Power / Liberty Utilities, AT&T, Bell, Boeing Integrated Defense Systems, Cisco Systems, Deloitte, Hatch, Liberty Mutual Insurance, Nationwide Insurance, Rogers Communications, RBC Royal Bank, Shoppers Drug Mart, TELUS and Wardrop Engineering. His work with government agencies includes the Canada Revenue Agency, Cancer Care Ontario, the BC Ministry of Government Services, the US Mint, The US Navy Air Command, the US Army Corps of Engineers and The US Department of Energy - Los Alamos Research Laboratory.
Jason is founding President of the Toronto Chapter of the International Institute of Business Analysis, and served as Editor and Contributor for the Guide to the Business Analysis Body of Knowledge. Jason led the team for the development of the Enterprise Business Analysis Guide for the IIBA and continues as Team Lead for special projects with the organization. Jason holds an Honours Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from the University of Guelph.
Melanie Dowhaniuk, EVP Marketing and Business Development
Melanie is a business to business marketing professional who thrives in a fast-paced, results driven environment. As the founder of an award-winning marketing company, she brings her entrepreneurial mindset to her role at ACHIEVEBLUE™ where she is responsible for business development and marketing execution.
Melanie has over 20 years’ experience developing marketing and sales strategies across multiples industries including telecom, technology, retail, financial services and healthcare. She was a finalist in the RBC Canadian Women Entrepreneur Awards in 2008, the same year her team was awarded Best in Class by Dell Canada. Melanie has supported brands across North America like Dell, Bell, Rogers, TELUS, Mackenzie Health and adidas. She has also led partnership programs abroad in India and Sub-Saharan Africa.
Melanie injects leadership diversity to Boards and SMB executive teams. She is the co-lead for Sunnybrook’s Champions of Change initiative as part of her commitment to investing in innovation and healthcare technology. She has also channeled her lifelong love of dance into The National Ballet of Canada’s Young Professional Program, Turnout as founding co-chair.
