Phil Dixon is a leading expert in applying the new science of brain-based leadership to the fields of Executive Development, Organizational Change and Coaching. He is the founder of the University of the Brain, an organization that is focused on applying the latest knowledge from the field of integrative neuroscience into the areas of learning & development, and organizational & cultural change.
Phil has an exceptionally wide background starting in the IT field, where he headed up IT for Apple. He was then responsible for Leadership Development at Apple before setting up his own consulting practice.
Phil’s recent passion in the application of the field of neuroscience to leadership has led to a close alliance with Brain Resources and to the publication of a recent paper in the NeuroLeadership Journal: Turn the 360 Around – a Brain-Based approach to giving feedback.He is a frequent speaker on the topic of brain-based leadership and is in the process of writing a book “Using Your Brain for a Change.”
Daniel Martin has over 40 Years of global GE human resource leadership experience in a variety of roles increasing in scope and impact at General Electric focusing on raising the level of organizational performance through a broad range of human resource competencies including: lean six sigma, executive assessments, leadership, team and talent development; organization design and effectiveness; change management; engagement, retention, and reward strategies, performance management, compensation design and implementation; and cultural transformation initiatives.
Experience includes: leading HR organizations and teams, labor relations and contract negotiations, employee engagement initiatives, transformational leadership workshops, HR support for global growth strategies, new venture startups, merger and acquisition integration, and business dispositions. Dan has successfully implemented many different quality initiatives including Quality Circles, Total Quality Management, Six Sigma and Lean in both manufacturing and service organizations.
During his global career at GE he has significant accomplishments and recognition awards, including a CEO leadership award, helping GE become one of the most successful companies in the world. Graduated from GE’s Advanced Human Resources Leadership Program, and certified at the John F. Welch Leadership Development Center at Crotonville, NY to deliver many of GE’s corporate leadership and change initiative workshops. Has conducted hundreds leadership and team development workshops throughout the world. Dan holds a BS degree in accounting from Gannon University
Known for her broad business orientation and deep working knowledge of global leadership, Liza’s expertise is sought for effective global transitions, leadership development, developing high-achieving women and high potentials. She partners with global leaders to achieve their desired results, advance their careers and live fulfilling lives.
Liza is sought to speak to diverse global audiences as well as notable universities such as the Harvard MBA Women’s Conference and Drexel University’s Human Resources graduate program. As a motivational speaker, she shares her insights in the areas of career success, global leadership, secrets of high-achieving women, and human resources transformation.
A global citizen, having lived in 3 continents, Liza held executive human resources positions across the Americas, EMEA, Asia Pacific and Latin America in high tech, financial and health care industries.
She served as Vice President HR of the Technology Services Group, Americas, a $15 billion business serving enterprise customers and the Vice President HR Transformation, Communications and Operations for Hewlett Packard. Prior to this, Liza worked for Avaya as the Vice President HR International & Mergers and Acquisitions. In this role, she was responsible for HR strategy and global operations for over 30 countries outside the US.
She is a Certified Professional Coach, a Professional Member of the National Speakers Association and serves as a Board Member on the ICF San Francisco Bay Area Coaches.
